Hi, I’m Tessa and we are PNW Pet Sitter LLC! We are your caring, experienced, and accommodating dog walkers/pet sitters! Located in Portland Oregon, we are dedicated to caring for all pets in and surrounding areas. Recently, we have been expanding and now provide services in the following areas: Hillsboro, Bethany, Rockcreek, Aloha, Tigard, Beaverton, Sherwood, Tualatin, Cedar Hills, Raleigh Hills, Multnomah Village, Lake Oswego, and West Linn.

Services
House sitting:
Looking to get out of town but your pet can’t tag along? Does your pet do best in their own environment? Have no fear PNW Pet Sitter is here! We provide house sitting for those who would prefer to keep their pets in a familiar place. Keeping pets in their own environment, while you're away, has proven to decrease stress and anxiety.
A PNW Pet Sitter house sitting includes attentive and dedicated overnight care for your pets. As well as detailed orientated cleaning and care for your home as well. PNW Pet Sitters love to go the extra mile for all pets and pet parents.
*Suitable sleeping arrangements must be provided by owner for sitter.*
Pricing for house sitting is as follows:
Dog Rate: $65/night
Additional Dog: $40/night
Cat Rate: $35/night
Additional Cat: $25
Dog Walking:
Keeping our pets active can be challenging sometimes. Especially when we have so many other responsibilities to balance. PNW Pet Sitter is here to help.
We provide experienced and trained dog walkers who offer services to small, medium, or big dogs alike. We are capable and skilled in walking both puppy and senior dogs. PNW Pet Sitter offers 20 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute walks.
Prices for dog walking is as follows:
Dog Rate: $15/20min walk
Dog Rate: $25/30min walk
Dog Rate: $35/60min walk

Having an extra long workday? Travel plans keeping you away from your pet longer than expected? Drop-in visits are perfect for pets that need a little extra love and attention.
A PNW Pet Sitter drop-in visit includes walks, playtime, cuddles, feedings, etc.
Prices for Drop-in visits are as follows:
$18/20min visit
$28/30min visit
$38/60min visit

Daycare:
Daycare is a great option if your pet is in need of company for a full day or maybe just a half day.
PNW Pet Sitter is very accommodating and offers in-home daycare. Daycare includes your pet getting several walks (if needed), lots of play time, even park time/socialization if acceptable by owner
Daycare start times from as early as 6am to as late as 7pm. A half day of daycare is 4 hours or less. Anything beyond 4 hours is considered a full day.
*After 7pm the daycare becomes an overnight sitting and owner will be charged additional rates.*
Prices for daycare are as follows:
Half-day of daycare: $40/dog
(4 hours or less)
Full-day of daycare: $50/dog
Jess & Tess
Owner and operator Tessa Weinstein has been a pet owner/lover since as long as she can remember. She has always had at the very least one dog in her life and couldn’t imagine life without one.
Tessa has been pet sitting for about 5 years now. She has worked and experienced pretty much every side of the pet industry one could. Originally from Florida, she used to sit all of her friends and family’s pets back home. She has worked in an animal shelter as a volunteer, in a dog daycare setting and a veterinarian setting as well. She has experience training family dogs and, at one point, had a family dog that had 12 puppies! She grew up with many pets in her home, including 4 cats and 2 dogs. She's had experience with some exotic pets too. Such as birds and rabbits.
Tessa currently has an American Staffordshire terrier named Jesse. She is her ESA and best friend. Jesse was rescued in 2018 at 3 months. Her and her sister were found after hurricane Michael and placed at my local shelter in Florida. She is the sweetest most sociable dog anyone could ask for. She loves to play and make new friends, k-9 and human alike. Jesse is Tessa's main inspiration for beginning her pet sitting business.
Recently, Tessa has taken her pet sitting on as a full-time position and business. She has been gaining so much experience and knowledge with just about every size, shape, and breed of pet. She plans to continue growing this passion of hers into a successful business. She strives to give other animal lovers the opportunity to excel in the pet industry.

We had a short trip on our calendar, but none of our usual sitters were able to house sit with our pets on that weekend. So, I turned to Rover.com, and contacted several potential sitters. Tessa was warm and friendly in our first texts, and offered to come for a quick visit to see if it would be a good fit. As soon as my pups met Tessa, they knew she is a dog-person! She came to the door, and they didn't even bark; they greeted her as a friend, without any hesitation. We took the dogs for a walk, and they were happy to have Tessa along for the trip. When the day arrived for our departure, Tessa arrived on time, and provided updates over the next day and a half. The pups were able to spend the night in the guest room with Tessa, and enjoyed the extra attention. I appreciated the peace of mind knowing that our fur-babies were staying with a responsible, experienced adult, and would not hesitate to hire her again!

Tessa was FANTASTIC! At almost the last minute, we learned that we "probably" wouldn't be able to have our Lab/Bulldog mix stay at the pet hotel. That was a chance we just couldn't take, but ... what to do? Tessa to the rescue. She came over for a meet and greet that very afternoon and we learned immediately that she had the skills to handle our sometimes unpredictable dog, and she also interacted fantastically with us. As if she hadn't already impressed us, she kept us up to date on the happenings at the house while we were gone. We couldn't be more pleased with Tessa and highly recommend her to anyone.

Tessa was amazing! Our Boston Terrier is anxious with most new people and dogs. It takes him hours, sometimes days, to warm up to someone. Within 5 minutes of Tessa arriving for the meet & greet, our quirky little boy sat next to her. Her calm demeanor is exactly what he needed. She sent daily pics/videos and a little summary of the day. Ever since we arrived back home, our little fur-boy has been very calm and less anxious. It usually takes him days to relax and get back to his napping routine of 20 hours a day. We will definitely rebook with Tessa again.

Get Informed
What is your cancellation policy?
For house sittings our cancellation policy is one week in advance from the start of the sitting. This goes for both sitter and client parties. This is to make sure our clients have enough time to find a replacement sitter and so our sitters can also fill in the dates if need be. If a cancellation request is not submitted within these time parameters for a house sitting on behalf of a client a 50% cancellation fee will be owed at the time of the cancellation. For all other services our cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance and there are no cancellation fees for these services.
When are payments due?
Payments for house sitting services are due prior to or the day of and before the start time of the service. For shorter services they may be due before or after the service is completed. All due dates are located on every invoice.
